My Te Devina Detox verdict.

http://www.detoxteahealth.com/ Hi! :) It's lovely to see you all again! So keeping in theme with my previous post, I thought I'd do a really quick, sooper doper quick product review on this new detox tea that I'm drinking at the moment. I've quit caffeine, so this one's perfect for me :) It's called Vida Tea, and comes in a maroon/silver foil packet that you have to make up with four pints of water, and then leave aside. The great thing about this tea is that it can be drunk either cold or hot, so it's really flexible to the time of the year. Also, you can flavour this tea with fruit such as lemons, oranges and strawberries which makes it versatile as it can be easily tailored to your taste. The tea essentially works as a way to cleanse all the waste (toxins) in your colon which your body has trouble removing efficiently. It works as a boost. All of that excess waste and toxins can also cause your body to hold onto unnecessary weight. So this tea hel

January Detox Challenge: 10 ways to set yourself free!

I was out shopping yesterday and it's amazing how many food products, (or products in general) you can actually do without. Stuff that you fill your trollies with, under the impression that you need it, but in actual fact, is a want . All luxury items like chocolate, crisps, fancy desserts and other non-essentials. (Yes yes, I know, chocolate is a non-essential?! Ok, quite questionable hehe. I'm challenging myself to a January Detox Challenge, in the hope that it can open my eyes to what truly benefits me :) Whoop! Health/Food Challenge: I want to be mindful about what I'm eating. Strategies: 1. When I go shopping, I'd like to be more mindful about buying (and therefore eating) food with good nutritional value. 2. Cutting the cr...isps. When I stop eating extra stuff, I will lose weight. Weight off of my shopping trolley and hips. I find that whizzing straaaaaight past the junk foods aisle helps! 3. Ensure I eat half a plate of fruit or vegetables at ev

Shimmer and Shine:The Body Shop's Sparkler

This product makes me feel like one of those glamorous Hollywood stars in her Boudoir. There she is, she's sat with a mirror surrounded by bulbs, and someone's rolling up her hair in curlers. And then you see it, that magical *puff * of smoke which adds that *twinkle* onto our starlet. What's so attractive about this product is that it's got the classic pump which you can squeeze to your heart's content.  This vintage-style, glass atomiser most certainly brings out the sassy lady in you! It's classy, and also fun to play with. This product is originally intended to be a body shimmer, but can also be used in other ways, making it very versatile and handy to keep in your handbag. The best way to use the Sparkler would be *zuzsh* it over moisturised skin, to puff over wet nail varnish, in your hair, and also as face makeup. Since it can be applied in a variety of manners, this Sparkler is appealing to a range of females. the young ones prefer t

Allah is Always with Me.

Hand on heart, *beat BEAT beat BEAT beat BEAT*. Blood pumped out into every depth of my body. And Allah is closer to me than my jugular. Always with me. Never leaving. In the misty mist, from the air trails forming in swirls as I exhale, and then some more. In 'HHHhhh'. And then from the crystal clear tears streaming down my face a river rippling so beautifully. More and more. Splish! Splash! Splosh! Pools collecting in the swathes of my headscarf. Now my headscarf is littered with splashes of my grief and happiness and joy and peace. From the mysterious sparkles which don't show, but are within me. Sunshine and rainbows. Sunlight glistening through the tree branches. A beam of light upon my caramel face. Each eyelash a golden hair highlighted...And an entire universe captured within my iris. A kaleidoscope of colours. Crimson, and azure and teal and magenta. Sparkling shiny. Entire universes in their own right, waiting to be unlocked and released and received.
